The wool is sourced from farms certified to recognised animal‑welfare standards such as the Responsible Wool Standard (RWS) or equivalent non‑mulesed certifications. These standards ensure humane treatment of sheep, responsible land management, and traceability through the supply chain. Wool’s natural breathability and odour resistance mean it requires less frequent washing, reducing environmental impact over time.

This wool jumper follows a traceable supply chain from farm to finished garment, supported by RWS‑certified wool and long‑standing supplier partnerships. Specialist mills manage spinning, knitting, and finishing, allowing close oversight of each stage. Certification supports transparency by verifying origin, animal welfare, and social practices, helping ensure the wool used meets clear environmental and ethical criteria throughout production.

A typical wool jumper has an estimated carbon footprint of 18–22 kg CO₂e, with most emissions associated with fibre production. To reduce impact, this jumper is produced using fully fashioned knitting, which lowers yarn waste by around 20–30%.
